Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the process of helping individuals restore, maintain, and improve their physical health and mobility. Our professional & dedicated team has extensive experience with all areas of treatment and will work with you to discover the best approach to resolve your pain, and prevent future recurrence. This can include hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, modalities, and exercise.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor therapy is provided by Registered Physiotherapists who are specially trained to assess problems in the musculature and soft tissues within and around the pelvis for both women and men. Some common conditions include bladder and/or bowel incontinence, bladder and/or bowel urgency/frequency, constipation, prolapse, pelvic muscle tightness or weakness, pain with sexual activity, and pain in the low back, pelvis, or tailbone region. Your visit can include discussion of reason of symptoms, treatment which may include internal/ external interventions, manual therapy, biopsychological interventions, and exercises.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy manipulates the soft tissue of the body using a variety of pressure & movement techniques to alleviate pain, boost mobility, and promote healing. Our experienced Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) can help you with a variety of challenges, including the restoration of postural alignment, proper biomechanics, relieving muscle tension related to sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents and stress. Your appointment can include hands-on manual therapy and exercises while you work towards achieving your rehabilitation goals.
Customized Active Rehabilitation (CAR) Program
The Customized Active Rehabilitation (CAR) program is an evidence based multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment program for clients with physical injuries, chronic conditions or recovering from medical diagnoses with an aim to assisting them to return to function and work in a timely manner. It is designed to treat almost all forms of physical and medical health issues affecting function. Program offerings can vary from one on one treatment to a basic program involving a Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist. We also offer provisions for adding a mental health clinician to this program to assist with managing emotional sequela as well as Occupational Therapist for cognitive deficits, or complex return to work scenarios.
